Merry, Merry Christmas Reviews

**Merry, Merry Christmas Movie Reviews**
Kicking off the event with a review of the Hallmark movie, Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses. *This movie is based on the book by Jenny Hale.

Abbey’s a single mother who’s interior design career took a backseat when she became a mom. Somehow she convinced Nick Sinclair, a career businessman, to hire to her decorate his family estate for a Christmas Eve event hosted by his family’s foundation.

Nick’s business partner is skeptical of hiring Abbey from the start, needing him to focus on the business and not being bothered with unimportant details of decorations. However, as time progresses, Abbey begins to get closer to Nick who seems to be around more and more, and even willing to help, while she’s decorating the home. She’s slowly beginning to convince him that Christmas really is magical.

Abbey’s son, Max, draws Nick in with his child-like charm and Nick discovers maybe he’s missing out on some important things in life that he’s buried to focus on his lucrative career. But when a business deal becomes in jeopardy because of his distraction with Abbey, he vows to focus on his job, leaving Abbey confused and alone.

Sometimes we lose focus of what our priorities in life should be and get wrapped up in a career. The story was great about showing the importance of family and relationships.

Overall, it was a good movie. The chemistry between Nick & Abbey was definitely there all through the movie, but I felt like the end… you know the traditional Hallmark last 5 min… was meh. It totally fell flat for me. The spark that I felt the entire movie was not there at the very end.

4.5 out of 5 stars for me 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫
